What We Do
We work with parents and children who have long-term goals for their Chinese language and culture learning, who value a teaching approach that is balanced between structured learning and freedom for exploration through Chinese language, and who work as partners with each other and with our program on this exciting journey.
(1) We offer weekly Mandarin Chinese classes for 5-10 year old children after school or on Saturdays.
(2) We have a brief summer camp. In the summer of 2012, we'll offer a one-week intensive Chinese immersion camp (July 23-27, 9:30-4:30pm).
(3) We do assessment of children's progress with their Chinese language learning so that learning effciency can be evaluated and future lesson planning can be more targeted. This service is open to everyone.
(4) We consult for schools and programs to build a strong curriculum for teaching Mandarin Chinese to elementary school children.
